A range of social protection supports were announced in Budget 2023. These include a €12 increase in core welfare payments and a package of 8 lump sum payments between now and Christmas.
Today (Monday, 17th October) sees the first lump sum payment - the Autumn double payment - being paid to our pensioners, carers, people with disabilities and families, benefitting 1.4 million people.
